Publica Drive (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates a cloud-based file sharing and access platform that connects with Google Drive to provide secure public sharing using clean URLs, password protection, and analytics.

1.1 Account Information
When you sign in using Google authentication via Google OAuth, we may collect:

- Email address
- Google account ID
- Profile image (if available)
We do NOT collect your Google password.
1.2 Google Drive Access
With your permission, we access your Google Drive using the drive.file scope, which
allows us to:
- Upload files to your Drive
- Stream files securely
- Manage files created through Publica Drive
We do not access files you did not create or upload via our platform.
1.3 File Information
When you upload files, we store metadata:
- File name, size, type, and folder structure
- Pretty URL slug
- Password (hashed if set)
- Public access status
- View count
Your actual file remains stored in your Google Drive.
1.4 Usage & Analytics Data
We automatically collect:
- IP address and Browser / device information
- Access timestamps
- Page views and File view history
This data helps improve service quality and security.
1.5 Advertising Data
We display ads using Google AdSense or similar providers. Ad networks may use cookies, device identifiers, and browsing behavior to deliver relevant advertisements.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide file hosting and sharing functionality
- Stream files securely from Google Drive
- Protect files with password authentication
- Generate analytics and usage reports
- Display advertising content

- Backend file streaming (no direct Drive links)
